Church Street Cottage is a truly delightful self catering period cottage arranged over four floors in the typical Georgian style within walking distance of the centre of the World Heritage City of Bath, yet only minutes away from picturesque countryside.  The cottage is situated in a street of period houses and enjoys breathtaking views from its balcony. There is parking for one car.

This two bedroom cottage sleeps 3 people (not equipped or suitable for under 7s). Regrettably, no pets are allowed and the property is not suitable for smokers as smoking is not allowed in any part of the property.

Living Accommodation

The first floor (street level) of the cottage has a beamed lounge (two metres from floor to beams) and extends into a dining area. The lounge is comfortably equipped with two sofas, flat screen TV, DVD player and PS2. Books, DVDs and PS2 games as well as local information are provided for visitors.

Off the dining area (furnished with a period wooden table and leather chairs) is a large balcony with a mosaic table, four chairs, an umbrella and quite breathtaking views of Lyncombe Vale. Enjoy a drink or a meal here in this peaceful and secluded situation.

Downstairs, on the garden level you will find a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast area comprising a table and chairs for four. In the kitchen, are a fridge, gas hob and electric oven, microwave and dishwasher. Adjacent to the breakfast area is a utility room with washer/dryer, freezer and household cleaning equipment.

Upstairs, from the living area, is the bathroom and second bedroom. The bathroom is equipped with a shower over the bath (watch your head if you are over two metres tall!). The second bedroom has a four foot double bed and faces onto Church Street.

The whole of the top floor comprises the main bedroom. You have views over Lyncombe Vale as well as onto Church Street. Comfortably furnished with a double bed, dressing table and bedside tables, it is roomy and airy.

Garden
The south-facing, paved, 50 foot garden is wholly secluded with rockeries, an arch and a pergola. Iron garden furniture is provided for you to enjoy the peace and quiet.

Arrival and Departure Times

The cottage is usually available from 3 pm onwards and guests are asked to vacate the property by 10.30 am.  Earlier arrival times and later departure times can be negotiated depending on other bookings.
